My wife got my father-in-law in an assisted living facility called Shelby Crossing. It is a fairly new building and it is decorated very nicely. It is a very nice place and it looks better than a hotel. Staffing hours per resident is the total number of hours worked by the staff divided by the total number of residents. This used to be a five star facility in Macomb County and their lack of staff and compassion this last visit was totally unacceptable.
